HTAProtect is for paid-up members seeking access to legal advice in connection with transport-related legal issues. The HTA has negotiated free access for its members to Dyne Solicitors' Transport Law telephone advice scheme covering road transport law, operator licensing and commercial litigation issues.
Access is subject to reasonable user and a limit of 2 hours per member in any period of 12 months. Telephone advice in this context means communication over the telephone with a solicitor employed by Dyne Solicitors Limited for purposes of providing general legal advice.
Joining the HTA is simple and open to a variety of applicants. To be eligible, you or your organisation should be in some way related to the heavy/abnormal loads industry (including the design, manufacture or sales of related equipment). NB: Police Abnormal Loads Officers: Applicants will be offered Affiliate Membership without charge (requires a pnn.police.uk eMail address).
Simply select the level of membership that best matches you/your organisation using the form below - you'll be asked a few simple questions about your organisation and your contact details. All new applications for membership are subject to review by the Committee.
By applying, I signify your agreement to be bound by the rules of the HTA and acknowledge that admission to membership is at the sole discretion of the Committee of the HTA whose decision shall be final.
